Welcome to Harpenden RFC Squash Club - your local club, offering friendly and competitive squash & racketball.
We’re a very active private club run by the members offering 3 high-quality courts available all day, every day.
For a small club we offer a surprising range of activities. There are leagues, tournaments and club nights. We run highly competitive teams in the Hertfordshire Squash Leagues and can even boast of being National Champions for 3 years running in the Over-45 category.
To make sure we have a steady flow of emerging talent we offer coaching and there are numerous Junior activities, including courses in the school holidays. Ladies have their own dedicated events, teams and leagues too.
We welcome all standards of players from Harpenden and the surrounding towns and villages. We’ll help beginners get started and can offer top level squash for the experts.
Membership is extremely good value. Choose from a range of Adult, Junior & Family categories. Court fees are very competitive too.

Club Update- ReopeningPLAYERS AGREEMENT - PLEASE READ
Hi Everyone,
You might already be aware that the Government has allowed a return to play for gyms & sports centers etc from Saturday 25th July 2020 and this includes our squash club. England Squash have very helpfully issued guidance and advice and the committee met on Wednesday 15th July to discuss the measures that we need to put in place to ensure that there is as safe a return to play for us all as possible.
We are aiming to meet the 25th July deadline as we know you are all very keen to resume playing squash. However, this will rely on a heavy workload for the committee and also requires making some significant changes including our booking system so we are liaising with the supplier today in an effort to get the changes expedited. Additionally, we are completing risk assessments for both the club and coaches which will require sign off before we can open the doors. We plan to keep you all informed on our progress with emails and WhatsApp messages. Please be aware that, initially, there are restrictions on the type of play as follows:
We think option 3 will be popular, so please make yourself familiar with the rules of engagement by watching a short video on the England Squash website that explains how to play 'sides' by following this link:https://www.englandsquash.com/backtosquash
With all this in mind all courts will be charged at the off-peak rate. Until we have progressed to more normal competitive play, we will waive the peak rate.
Rules about accessing the club, court times, club cleaning, hand washing and sanitising anything you have touched in this new post Covid 19 world will follow as soon as we have ironed out all the details.
Please bear with us. There's a lot to do, but we really do want to try to be open from the 25th July.
Best regards
